We offer group loans for community-based groups who wish to borrow collectively and support one another in repayment. We also offer individual business loans for entrepreneurs looking to start or grow a business. Both loan types are designed to be accessible without the heavy collateral requirements of traditional banks. Additionally, we provide emergency loans for urgent, unforeseen needs.

Any entrepreneur or small business owner based in Uganda is eligible to apply. We work especially with individuals who may not have access to traditional banking, including those without formal collateral. Group loan applicants must form or belong to a registered group. We assess each application based on the applicant's business idea, character, and repayment capacity rather than assets alone.

We aim to process applications as quickly as possible. Once all required documents are submitted and a loan officer has reviewed your application, approval typically happens within 24 to 48 hours. Disbursement follows shortly after. We do not believe in making people wait unnecessarily for money that can change their situation today.

Beyond lending, we believe entrepreneurs need knowledge to thrive. Our business training sessions cover topics such as record keeping, budgeting, savings culture, and growing a customer base. Training is offered to both loan clients and members of the community. Sessions are held at our offices and, where possible, within communities. Some training is offered at no cost.

No. Leon Finance and Business Centre is a Non Deposit Taking Institution (NDTI). This means we do not accept or hold customer deposits. We are a lending institution, focused entirely on providing loans and financial support services to entrepreneurs and households. We operate under the relevant Ugandan financial regulations governing non-deposit-taking microfinance institutions.

Our work is grounded in the Christian faith, guided by Mark 16:15. We believe that serving people financially is also a form of serving them spiritually. Alongside our financial services, we incorporate gospel preaching and spiritual development into our programmes. However, our loans and services are available to all entrepreneurs regardless of religious background. We serve everyone.
